Project Administrator

The Institute for Innovative Technology In Medical Education (iInTIME), an entrepreneurial non-profit focused on medical education, is looking for a project administrator to manage the development and maintenance of on-line medical case simulations.

The project administrator will manage all aspects of the existing and developing projects.   Duties include keeping the authoring and editing processes on schedule by communicating with the physician authors and editors regarding progress, obtaining necessary consent and image files, making conference, travel and meeting arrangements, and acting as help desk for customers using the on-line simulations and during the development and beta-tesing of the project. In addition, the project administrator may assist in editing cases for content and style, copy-editing the cases and formatting the cases into iInTIME’s proprietary software package.

We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and an ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines.  You should be comfortable with technology and ready to learn new software skills as needed.  Finally, you should have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong people skills.  You must have at least several years of relevant work experience (e.g., as a copy-editor, project administrator, grant-writer).  Prior experience with and comfort editing medical terminology will be extremely valuable.
